Prepositions

Every simple (single-word) Spanish preposition. Starting with the two pairs that trip up Polish speakers first, then the rest — from everyday to archaic.

Lo hago por ti.I'm doing this because of you.
Voy a Madrid.I'm going to Madrid.
indirect object

Pronouns: le, les

Indirect object pronouns — to whom? for whom? The natural companion to „lo, la, los, las” (direct object), which already has its own full section in Schematy.

Le doy el libro.I'm giving him/her the book.
Le doy el libro a Ana.I'm giving the book to Ana.
mi, tu, su · para mí

Possessive & prepositional pronouns

Whose it is, and for whom — „my, your, his” before a noun, and „for me, for you” after a preposition. Two separate pronoun families, both easy to confuse with plain „yo, tú”.

Mi hermano vive en Madrid. My brother lives in Madrid.
Este regalo es para mí.This gift is for me.
